Day 1

| Istanbul

Arrive in Istanbul. Located in the Marmara region of Turkey, Istanbul is the world's most gorgeous and mysterious city. Check out the beauty, the great culture, the colourful lifestyle, the harmony of opposites and everything this amazing city has to offer. Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel located in Istanbul. Rest of evening is free at Leisure to explore Istanbul.

Day 2

| Istanbul

You will be picked up from your hotel at approximately 8.30am, and our first stop will be at the beautiful Hagia Sophia* (Aya Sofya), considered to be one of the most impressive examples of Byzantine era architecture. Built in the 6th Century by Emperor Justinian, it was used as a church until 1453, when it was converted to a mosque by Sultan Mehmed II following the conquer of Istanbul. Although it was converted to a museum in 1935, it still contains lots of traces of his colourful history.

Next stop is the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii), formally known as Sultanahmet Mosque, but earning its nick name the Blue Mosque because of its thousands of impressive blue Iznik tiles adorning its interior. It is the only Ottoman mosque with 6 minarets. Our next visit is to the Hippodrome of Constantinople (Sultanahmet Meydanı). This was the location of chariot races, athletics and protests in the Byzantine and Ottoman eras. Monuments in the Hippodrome include obelisks and the German fountain. We will take a lunch break at a cozy restaurant, and then head to Topkapi Palace (Topkapı Sarayı). The palace was the primary residence of the Ottoman Sultans and home to the Ottoman government. It was transformed into a museum in 1924 and declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1985. Please note that the Harem is not included in the tour, however let your guide know if you would like to visit on your own. We then stroll up to the Grand Bazaar (Kapalı Carsi). Built in 1461, and home to over 4,000 shops bursting with traditional Turkish goods such as handmade carpets, jewelry, leather and souvenirs, the Grand Bazaar is must-see for any visitor to Istanbul. After the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel.

Day 3

| Istanbul

Enjoy breakfast at your Hotel. Today we proceed for Princess Island Tour with Local Lunch. Known to be the vacation spot for the princess of the Byzantine Empire, the Istanbul Bayukada Princess Island Tour is all about a revisit to the past. This is one of the largest islands from the collection of Princess Islands in Istanbul that is a town in itself! You can take a ride through the small swift roads in a horse carriage (typical ride of the island) and explore the elegance of an era gone by. The town is filled with wooden mansions and historic Victorian summer villas surrounded by serene greenery and astounding water beauty. The lifestyle here is pretty simple and colorful. With your local amigo take a Full Day Princess Island Tour exploring the mighty architecture of the place, the local lifestyle and the serene beauty that it is. As the island is known for its fresh and relishing sea food, don’t forget to try on some prawns, fish etc that is part of the lunch to treat your taste buds.

Day 4

| Cappadocia

Enjoy breakfast at Hotel. Today we proceed for Istanbul Airport for our domestic flight (on own) to Kayseri. On arrival at Kayseri, our representative will pick-up our guest at Kayseri Airport and transfer our guest to hotels in Cappadocia. Evening Free at leisure for our guests to explore region on Cappadocia on own.

Day 5

| Cappadocia

North Cappadocia tour is a great itinerary which covers all highlights of the North Cappadocia. When combined with South Cappadocia tour at secont day, two tours would cover all Cappadocia's highlights.ROSE VALLEY (KIZILCUKUR) It has beautiful rock formations with some great hidden rock carved churches. The most interesting part of this area is the countless tracks connecting the small villages and towns through vineyards and gardens like a spider net. The Rose Valley is an isolated valley behind Urgup. It is always possible to see villagers working in the area and offering grapes, apples or apricots to you.OPEN AIR MUSEUM Goreme, an important Christian centre in the early years of the middle ages, was a bishopric administered by Mokissos near Aksaray in the 11th and 13th Centuries. Despite the vast number of monasteries, churches and chapels in the vicinity of Goreme there are not many inscriptions bearing dates. For this reason these religious buildings are mainly dated according to the iconography or architectural features.

MONKS VALLEY (PASABAGLARI): Pasabagi is the best place to see three-headed fairy chimneys. Pasabag, the Pasha's Vineyard is surrounded by incredible natural rock formations; a spectacular scene.

CAVUSIN: Cavusin is one of the oldest settlement in the area. Cavusin is situated 2km from Goreme, on the Goreme - Avanos road. The Church of St. John the Baptist offers a panoramic view of the village. This church and its paintings date back to the 5th century, making it the oldest church in the region. It had a large courtyard which is unusual for Cappadocia. However this has eroded away.

AVANOS It is a town where you will be invited to visit a traditional pottery workshop on our tours. Set deep into the hillside. Avanos is the centre for terracotta works of art since 3000BC,. The clay, from the Red River passing through the town gives life both to the land and to the local economy.

UCHISAR CASTLE Uchisar is a troglodyte town situated right in the middle of Cappadoccia. It is named after the enormous piece of rock in the centre of the town, which was once used as a castle. This extraordinary rock is the highest peak of the area with a view of whole of Cappadocia and Erciyes (Argeus) Mountain.

DEVRENT VALLEY which is also known as Imaginary Valley and also as Pink Valley does not have cave churches like the other valleys of Cappadocia. Reveals many different rock formations and is only a 10 minute drive from Goreme. The small fairy chimneys in the valley form a lunar landscape, or moonscape, by their strange look. The valley also has many animal shaped rocks.

Day 6

| Kusadasi

Breakfast at Hotel. Today we transfer you to Kayseri Airport for flight (on own) to Izmir. On arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in Kusadasi. Rest of day is free at leisure to explore Kusadasi on own

Day 7

| Kusadasi

Enjoy breakfast in your Hotel. Today we will proceed for a daytrip to Ephesus & Sirince Village Tour with Local Lunch. Drive to Ephesus, which is one of the best well-kept Greco-Roman ancient city in the world, famous with Odeon, Temples, Library; theatre where is one of the biggest with 24. 000 people capacity and St. Paul preached; Roman Baths ; Fountains; Temples; Agora; Love House; Public Toilets, etc After Ephesus, we visit Temple of Artemis which is one of the seven wonders of ancient time. We can have a traditional lunch in the area. And then we will go to greek village Sirince we will spend plenty of time there. After our visit to there we can visit some art galleries if you desire (carpet weaving schools, leather outlets, ceramic or gold factories, turkish delight candy shops)

Day 8

| Kusadasi

Pamukkale which is the center of natural thermal spring waters with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white colored travertines and stepped water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. It is for its resemblance to cotton piles that it is called "Cotton Castle". The city of Hierapolis, which was founded on this site in the 2nd century B. C. , differs from all other ancient cities in being located, not on earth or rock, but on solid limestone layers formed by limestone water that flowed for centuries over this raised level plateau. "Hierapolis" means "sacred city", and according to Stephanus of Byzantium the city was given this name because of the large number of temples it contained. Hierapolis, the city of temples, but it seems reasonable to assume that this not the original meaning of the name. Today, the theatre, the Apollo temple and the necropolis are the most important places to see in Hierapolis.
