Day 1

| Johannesburg

Arrive at the Johannesburg International Airport our representative will help you transfer to your hotel in Johannesburg. Johannesburg is a young city with an incredible history and legacy. One of the youngest of the world’s major cities, Johannesburg was founded in 1886, following the discovery of gold. Johannesburg city of South Africa is a hub for culture, food and art. With its art galleries, museum, food trails and vibrant cafes, Johannesburg is evolving as a diverse city that caters every need of tourist. Day 2

| Kruger

After enjoying breakfast at Hotel we check out & private transfers to your accommodation in Hazyview, the nearest town to Kruger National Park. It has been said that even an hour in paradise is a rewarding experience and this can also be said to be true of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuary, the Kruger Park. An hour is rewarding, but a whole day is a life-changing experience. For an authentic safari experience, our full day Kruger Park safari will give you an unbelievable overview of this iconic destination. Game viewing from open safari vehicles in the Kruger Park has to be one of the ultimate safari experiences in Africa, the knowledgeable guide will interpret the bush and give you a detailed explanation of the animal’s behavior. You start your day early with an exciting open vehicle game drive. During the day, you will make a pit stop at a peaceful, scenic picnic spot or a Rest Camp where you can get something to eat before setting off to explore more of the Kruger National Park. Kruger National Park is well-known for its boundless opportunities to spot the famous African Big Five - Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and of course Lion.

You will experience South Africa’s natural beauty, capture boastful wildlife photographs and have amazing African wildlife encounters. Today Dinner will be served at your accommodation.

Day 3

| Kruger

Today we will have packed breakfast & we head for Game Drive at Kruger National Park. The Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of the oldest and largest reserves in Africa. The park boasts a tremendous variety of game – The Big 5 and bird life in its numerous habitats. You should see: elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, warthog, lion, spotted hyenas, baboon, hippo, impala, kudu, vervet monkey, waterbuck, Tsessebe, wildebeest, bush baby, mongoose, duiker, steenbok, klipspringer, genet, bats. You may see: leopard, wild dog, cheetah, roan antelope, sable antelope, bat-eared fox, rhino, honey badger, porcupine, rebook, aardvark, aardwolf, civet, and caracal and serval suni. In late afternoon, we head back to our lodge and evening dinner will be served at our lodge.

Day 4

| Kruger

Day 5

| Knysna

After breakfast we proceed to Johannesburg Airport for flight (on own) to George. Upon arrival, private transfers to your accommodation in Knysna. Knysna stands out on South Africa’s famed Garden Route thanks to the sandstone cliffs that dramatically separate its tranquil lagoon from the pounding surf of the Indian Ocean. It’s also home to the country’s largest indigenous forest. Hop aboard a ferry for a ride through the scenic highlights. The Millwood Mines at Jubilee Creek, site of a major gold rush in 1885, provide a picturesque spot for a picnic. Be sure to try some local oysters during the renowned annual festival.

Day 6

| Knysna

After breakfast at the Hotel we proceed for a full day trip to Oudtshoorn.

Arrive at Cango Caves into the dark tunnels and shadowy chambers of this popular tourist cave wind through nearly four kilometers of dimly lit underground passages. Visitors can only explore Cango Caves on guided group tours, which are offered in two vastly different options. The standard tour takes travelers through easy-going portions of the caves, where sharply pointed stalactites and stalagmites a glow from spotlights make for impressive photos.

Arrive at Ostrich farm for a fun and inter-active guided tour of a working farm where you will be able to get close and personal to these ancient birds. You can stand on ostrich eggs and feed them and learn how we farm. Afterwards, our professional guide takes your group by tractor & trailer on a 25-minute

Ostrich “Game Drive” through Zimbabwe Blue Ostrich Camp. We drive through natural veld with 16 Zimbabwe Blue ostriches as if in the wild.

Arrive at Cango Wildlife Ranch & take a guided tour through the award-winning grounds for a look at flying foxes, exotic birds, and water monitors. Cheetah land, an elevated catwalk that made this ranch famous, is also home to tigers, cheetahs and even a white lion. But despite the wide variety of animals here, Cango Wildlife Ranch is not a zoo. The popular attraction takes conservation and community education seriously, which means visitors see the wildlife that makes this country unique, and get a lesson in preserving it, too. Transfer back to Knysna in the evening.

Day 7

| Knysna

Enjoy breakfast at Hotel. Proceed for Full Day Tsitsikamma Tour & visit to Bloukrans Bridge. Tsitsikamma National Park is an area of the Garden Route National Park, on South Africa’s southern coast. It encompasses a marine reserve,

deep gorges and local vegetation like the Big Tree, a towering yellowwood. The Mouth Trail crosses a suspension bridge over Storms River. The Otter Trail leads to Nature’s Valley, with birds including the Cape batis. The park is also home to small mammals, including bush pigs. You can also opt for Bloukrans Bridge Bungee Jumping (at an additional cost)

Day 8

| Hermanus

Early breakfast at Hotel & proceed to Hermanus. Today we proceed for Whale Watching Tour in Hermanus. Maximize your chances of seeing whales with this boat tour from Hermanus. Learn about the magnificent mammals from a whale specialist as you head out onto the water. Depending on the time of year keep an eye out for humpback, Bryde's, and southern right whales, as well as dolphins and seals. Day 9

| Cape Town

After enjoying breakfast at Hotel we proceed to Cape Town. Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the Imposing Table Mountain. Long, coastline, the lively aura and the cultural harmony portrays the City of Cape Town. Lying towards the southwest coast, the port city of South Africa is the legislative capital that was established as a supply station for the Dutch East Indies. Tourism in Cape Town is widespread due to the long shores and the magnificent beaches that are the hub engaged with entertainment. Above all, what make the Cape Town tour so popular are the vineyards with the wine tram tours arranged with some delight activities as wine tasting, cheese tasting, day picnics and the collection of best authentic wines of South Africa. Day 10

| Cape Town

Take off from the iconic V&A Waterfront for a 12 minute scenic helicopter Ride (additional Cost) along the Atlantic Coast. Fly over Cape Town Stadium and Lion’s Head, a mountain forming part of the dramatic backdrop to the city. Fly over the neighbourhoods of Clifton and Camps Bay and admire their beautiful dwellings, cliffs, and beaches. Finish your flight with a panoramic view of Table Mountain,

South Africa’s most iconic mountain landmark. Your pilot is also a trained guide, who’ll communicate with you through high-quality Bose headphones, making your flight informative and fun.

Later we proceed for a Guided Cape Town City & Table Mountain Tour. No visit to Cape Town is complete without a tour of the "Mother City". Sense the depth of history as you drive past Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge before stopping for a short visit of the Castle of Good Hope (optional), originally built as a maritime replenishment station and now the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa! Alternatively, we walk around the Grand Parade square which has its own historical significance. We hear of the brief history of District Six en-route to a visit at the Company Gardens where we walk through the landscaped gardens. Learn more about the history of the Bo-Kaap and its people as we move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colours of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes. Trace the moves of a professional diamond cutter as he creates every girl's dream stone with a visit to a diamond cutting factory. After learning more about the history of diamonds and gold in South Africa, we drive past the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Stadium, Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay.

We then make our way to Table Mountain where you will experience the revolving cable car ride to go up to the Table Mountain for a bird’s-eye view of Cape Town and Peninsula from the top of the iconic Table Mountain (weather dependent). You can wander across well marked paths to see views from all sides of the plateau. On a clear day it is even possible to see Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was confined, on one side and Cape Point on the other.

Day 11

| Cape Town

Proceed for a Private Guided Full Day Cape Point tour (also known as Cape Peninsula tour) - after Pick up from your Hotel, we will make our way through Mouille Point, Three Anchor Bay, Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton and then stopping at Maidens Cove for some photo opportunities. We continue on through Camps Bay, then on to Hout Bay where you will do join a boat trip to the Seal Island (weather permitting) to witness the thousands of seals who inhabit it. Once we depart from Hout Bay, we will make our way onto Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the world's most spectacular coastal drives with the views that will take your breath away, we will stop for a few minutes here.

We now continue our journey towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point which is set at the southernmost tip of Africa where the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet. You can expect to witness the dramatic clash of the seas from the view point where you will arrive by using a Flying Dutchman Funicular (Return ticket included).

We will then continue Boulders Beach which is a home to a growing colony of the protected African penguins. You can get your fix of cuteness as you walk alongside these penguins as they waddle their way around, lazing about in the sun or diving deep for the catch of the day. Then, meander into the afternoon, as the Atlantic coastline hugs cloud-capped mountains at the seaside town of Muizenberg where you will spot the famous colourful huts surrounded by Rocky Mountains. Stop for lunch here (at your own expense). Keep your eyes on the ocean as we drive back along this beach route to reach Cape Town by evening.

Day 12

| Cape Town

After breakfast we transfer you to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to onward destination. We hope you had a wonderful time in South Africa and we hope to welcome you once again.

  • The above costing is based on minimum operating strength (MOS) of 25 Passengers travelling together. Any decrease in the (MOS) will result in revision of tour costs.
  • All information given in this itinerary is based on the information available at the time of launching of this particular product. We reserve the right to change any itinerary information before or after your booking the tour due to any events beyond our control.
  • In case we are aware of any changes sufficiently in advance, we will notify you at the time of booking, otherwise our Tour Manager or Local representative will inform you of the changes.
  • We may modify the itinerary based on various factors like maintenance of historical monuments, museums, major events like sports conventions, religious festivals, etc.
  • We may take a detour to reach sightseeing places due to traffic conditions; road blocks and that may vary the course of itinerary. We reserve the right to change the departure date or cancel a departure due to lack of enough number of passengers and will not take any responsibility for any ticket of the client which they may have purchased in advance for sector within India or abroad.
  • Clients are responsible for the adherence to time at all stages of the tour. In the event that a client misses on any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same. The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the client.
  • We reserve the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, aeroplane, bus, ship or other services. We further reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure; excursions advertised or substitute a hotel of similar category if deemed necessary.
  • The airfare is based on the fare structure existing as on 1st March 2022. Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, change in Government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers.
  • Passengers missing flights - In such cases the entire ticket/booking gets a no show and stands canceled. A new return ticket needs to be purchased by the passengers.

  • Air conditioning / cooling in hotels are set as per European weather conditions. Functioning of Air cooling / Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority. If the same does not change by the time the tours operate, we will organize breakfasts at Indian / local restaurant.
  • Due to logistical reasons certain departures may have amendments or reverse the itinerary. However, all the services / inclusions will remain the same.
  • Generally, you will have to walk at sightseeing places, amusement parks and at the airports sometimes for a long distance; however the same will be timely instructed by the Tour Manager. It is advisable to carry good pair of comfortable sports shoes. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible. monuments as possible. All our visits are booked in advance to avoid delays, at the same time there may be delays caused due to over-crowding , local regulations ,security check etc.

  • A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during the your initial part of you tour.
  • Please take extra care of your personal belongings while on the tour, every country you travel to is prone to thefts and bag snatching. Akbar Holidays will not be liable for any loss of belongings / baggage.
  • Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger above the age of 60 years and those who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges. The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or other services.
  • The Tour Manager and the company reserves the right to amend the itinerary, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised. For the convenience of our passengers, we may at times amend the itinerary to suit prevalent conditions and at the same time attain optimum utilization of the tour.
  • All the services as per itinerary shall remain the same as it is during such amends. There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour In case you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed the exact amount payable to the airline will be advised once the same is confirmed.
