Day 1

| Riyadh

Arrival in Destination Country
Our driver representative will meet you in the arrival area and transfer you accordingly to the designated hotel for check-in (standard check-in time will be applied).

Today will be a free time for the client as no activities have been allocated for this day. The client is free to explore the area on their own.

Day 2

| Riyadh

We proceed into old Riyadh, starting in the downtown area, and visiting the traditional Dirah Souq (famous for buying antique carpets and other useful Saudi heritage antiques). The walk is infused with the aromas of sandalwood fragrance and other scents of the Orient. The Souq is known for men’s clothing and it is entertaining to watch the auction which takes place every Friday. After this, we visit the Masmak Fort which is just walking distance from the Old Souq and whose importance is linked to the creation of the 3rd Saudi Kingdom, the modern one we live in. The fortified palace was built during the reign of Abdullah bin Rashid in the year 1895 A.D. to serve as a military garrison for the army of Abdullah bin Rashid. His Majesty King Abdulaziz, the father of the today’s
nation, captured the fort in 1902, marking the beginning of the reconquest of Arabia by the House of Saudi.

Day 3

| Riyadh

We reach the traditional village of Ushaiqer after a two-hour drive. One of the most vibrant examples of Najdi architecture, Ushaiqer is typical of the central plateau of Saudi Arabia. Ushaiqer is one of the oldest towns, existing for “over a millennium” and it was a major stopping point for pilgrims coming from territories that are now Kuwait and Iraq to perform Hajj or Umrah in Makkah. We get the opportunity to roam its narrow alleyways that run between elegant traditional houses, palaces, and old mosques.

We also visit a private collection of old antiques at a museum in one of the most beautiful old houses in the village. We conclude our visit from an impressive
viewpoint overlooking the area. After that, we will have an authentic Arabian lunch at a traditional restaurant before returning to Riyadh.

Day 4

| Riyadh

After a one-hour drive out of Riyadh, we will visit the most famous ancient carving site of Riyadh Province is called Musayqirah (which is also known as Graffiti Rock 1). There, people carved texts and drawings of animals and humans that date back up to 8000 years.

After another hour of driving, we will explore some wadis surprisingly full of trees and surrounded by mountains where we will find more fascinating carvings on the rocks that we will reveal to you. They tell us about the history of Central Arabia over a few millennia, from the ancient time of Green Arabia until the frankincense trade and the conquests by Arabian tribes. We will stop for lunch on the way (packed lunch will be provided). We will continue our tour to a unique site with long ancient texts carved by the Kings of Sheeba which we will decipher for you. After admiring that marvelous site, we headed back to Riyadh.

Day 5

| Riyadh

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel. Time to enjoy the hotel facilities till Check-out formalities.

Our driver representative will be available to pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your onward journey.
