1. Work Visa
The employee has to appear before the Venezuelan Consulate in the country of residence or. The Consulate can ask you for medical tests and examinations along with certified police records as well.
The additional documents required are:
- A cover letter from the employer
- A copy of the employment contract
- Academic transcripts, degree certificates (attested copies)
- Copy of work permit issued by Venezuelan authorities
- Marriage certificate, birth certificates of children under 18 years
- Proof of educational and professional certificates
- Police clearance certificate (valid for at least 6 months)
- A medical certificate authorized by a doctor
- Proof of financial solvency during your stay in Venezuela
- Processing time is 3-4 months

2. Transit Visa
This visa is valid only for seventy-two (72) hours with a single entry. If the applicant travel ticket indicates transit in Venezuela in the way back to his/her country, the visa will be issued for 2 entries. The documents required are the same as mentioned for other tourists.
