      The National Immigration Service has established that it will not be necessary to request a visa to enter Panama, regardless of your nationality, in the following circumstances: If the person has a multiple-entry visa, duly emitted by Australia, Canada, Great Britain and Ireland, the United States of America, Korea, Japan, Singapore or any other state of the European Union, with a validity of at least six (6) months before coming to Panama, and that the visa has been used previously in that territory. Under this visa exemption decree, you are only allowed to stay in the country for 30 days as tourist and will need to apply for a visa extension at the Immigration Office when you are approaching the 30 days, even if your time approved to stay in STRI Panama was granted for three months or any other term.

    Yes. Those who hold a valid multiple entry visa from one of the following countries: USA, Australia, Canada, or United Kingdom, which has been used at least one time to enter these countries, may enter the Republic of Panama without a visa regardless of their nationality.

    Indians travelling to Panama can choose from either a tourist/business visa based on certain criteria. The two applicable types of visas for Indian citizens are:

    • Type (A) visa:

      It is applicable for Indians holding a valid visa and has at least once travelled with a multiple entries visa for the following countries: USA, UK Canada, Australia, European or the Schengen States.
    • Type (C) visa:

      It is applicable if the applicant is not holding any valid visa
