    • Income tax documents of the last three years;
    • Letter from the company addressed to the embassy, introducing the business man for visa issuance;
    • Invitation letter from the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan;
    • Copy of the license (JAWAZ) of the local partner or prospect local partner company in Afghanistan.

    Indian nationals do not need to apply for a Laosvisa in advance. They can get a visa upon arrival in Laos provided they have the valid travel documents. Laos Visa on arrival is issued for 30 days. All visitors must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the time of entry into Laos.

    Yes. Visa extensions are fairly easy to obtain and the maximum length of extension is fifteen days. You need to visit the immigration office on Hatsady Road in Vientiane before your visa expires. Here, visa extensions are issued at the cost of approx. $2 per day.

    Indians are not liable to face a rejection. However, the above said documents are necessary to enter the country. Failure to produce any of the documents may result into rejection of your visa, thereby barring you from entering the country. The final decision to grant an entry permit is solely at the discretion of the Immigration officials at Laos airport.

  • One of the best activities in Laos is the Gibbon Experience, a series of zip lines connecting high treehouses. You can see plenty of gibbons, and go on some intense nature hikes.
  • While you enjoy the flavours of Laotian cuisine, you can also attend the cooking course in Vientiane or Luang Prabang. The classes include visiting the local market to purchase meat, herbs, spices, and vegetables and prepare the Laotian dish.
  • You can buy silk, cotton fabrics, wood carvings, silver, and local handicraft products at Laos. They will be on display in Luang Prabang and Vientiane markets. Another speciality of Laos is mulberry tea.
