  • add Do I need visa for Kuwait from India?

    Yes, all Indian passport holders require a visit to visit Kuwait. Indians are eligible for an eVisa. The electronic visa system (eVisa) will allow foreign citizens to receive Kuwait visa online, relieving them from necessity of applying for the visa at the Embassy. It is the simplest and the fastest way to get your visa. Once your visa application is approved, you will receive the visa copy via email right in your inbox.

    An Electronic Visa or "e Visa" is an electronically issued and stored authority for travel to The Republic of Kuwait, which replaces the traditional paper visa process in most cases.

      A Kuwait visa is a legal document which lawfully allows its holder to enter and stay within the country for a certain number of days as mentioned on the visa.

    • A Kuwait tourist eVisa allows visitors to enter and travel around Kuwait for touristic purposes A Kuwait visit visa must be sponsored by a Kuwait company or by a relative that is a resident foreigner staying in the country. Before traveling to Kuwait, a visitor can have his visa processed and passport stamped at their nearest Kuwait embassy.
    • If you’re visiting Kuwait and in a need for a Kuwait transit visa, then you can obtain it from the port authority in Kuwait or from its consulate aboard. You have 7 days maximum to put that visa in use or else it will expire and you’ll have to get a new one.

  • add What is the validity of a Kuwait Visa for Indians?

    Kuwait visit visas (and also entry permits) are valid for entry within 90 days of issue. Visitors can stay in Kuwait up to 30 days after entry.

  • add Is it possible to extend the Kuwait visit visa?

    If you are holding a Kuwait visit visa, you can only stay up to a maximum of 30 days in the country. If you extend your stay, you will have to pay KD10.00 per day.If your Kuwait visit visa is expired, you will not be allowed to leave the country until you pay the total fine.

    The processing time for a Kuwait eVisa is between one (1) and three (3) business days. Once approved, the eVisa is sent to the traveler by email. This saves the hassle of going to an embassy or consulate to submit a visa application. The Kuwait eVisa is a single-entry visa which allows visitors to spend up to 90 days in Kuwait.

The major attractions here are Tareqrajab Museum, SouqMoubarkiya, Scientific Centre, Kuwait Towers, Mirror House, Grand Mosque, Dar Al Athar Al Islamiyya, and Al Qurain Martyrs’ Mueum.   • Kuwait is not a foodie’s destination but it still has some excellent restaurants. Kuwait cuisine is the amalagation of Arabian, Indian , Persian, and Mediterrean cuisine.   • Kuwait is a dry country and alcohol is prohibited in the state. There are high penalties if found in possession of alcohol or found in drunk state. The nightlife mostly has hip coffee cafes serving single origin manual brews. If visiting Kuwait during Ramadan, make sure to not eat, drink, dance, or play loud music during the daylight in public. It is against the law of Kuwait.
  • Kuwait doesn’t have many entertainment options. It’s Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre is a world-class concert venue which hosts international theatre and acts. There are many venues having ad-hoc live music and DJ nights in many hotels or cafes. Cinemas or movies are also popular in Kuwait City and other cities too.
  • Kuwait is also famous for its versatile shopping scene with the malls being a social space and not just shopping destination.
