  • add Do I need a visa for Argentina?

    Indian citizen holders of ordinary passport need Visa to enter Argentina. All applications for Tourist Visa and Business Visa to travel to Argentina must be submitted to theConsular Section of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in New Delhi, India. Indians residing in Maharashtra and Karnataka must apply for the visa at the Consulate General of the Argentine Republic in Mumbai. Every applicant will called to visit the Embassy/Consulate in person for a personal interview with the Consular Officer. This interview is mandatory by law and admits no exceptions.

  • add Is there any visa exemption for Indian passport holders visiting Argentina?

    Yes. Indian passport holders having valid USA or Schengen Visa are eligible to apply for an E-Visa (Electronic travel authorization, ETA), provided the purpose of travel to Argentina is tourism only. The visa (US/Schengen) should be valid for at least 6 months.
    The E-VISA is valid for 3 months from the date of issue with multiple entries and one can stay for up to 90 days on each visit. The processing time for the E-VISA is 20 business days.
    Apart from Indian passport holders, Nepal and Maldives passport holders are also eligible for this facility.

    The Argentina visa is valid for three (3). Travellers can enter Argentina multiple number of times and on each visit are permitted to stay for 90 days, within the visa validity.

    To avoid inconveniences, applicants are advised to submit their application at least thirty (30) days prior to the proposed date of departure. Application for a Visa requested within 10 days of date of departure will not be accepted.

    The application is decided by the relevant Senior Officers of the Antigua and Barbuda Immigration Department. The processing time of the application is seven (7) working days. This time can be extended for up to 15 days and in exceptional cases for up to 30 days. The decision of the Immigration Department is based on the presented supporting documents

  • add Is it compulsory to submit passport along with the application?

    Yes, the Embassy will stamp the visa in the original passport. Therefore, two blank pages are required in the passport. Your passport should also be valid for minimum six months beyond the intended stay.

  • add Do I have to attend a personal interview as part of the Argentina visa process?

    Yes.Once your complete application is submitted by us to the Embassy/Consulate, it will be analysed by the Chief of the Consular Section. Within the next 72 working hours, applicants will be called for the interview once their applications fulfil all the necessary requirements. I.e. no pending document or requirement. In case of additional document requirement, the interview will be further postponed till all the requirements are not met.
    Please note that you are not required to submit your documents to the Embassy in person, we will do that for you. You will only be required to attend the interview at the later stage of the visa process.

  • add How long does it take to process an Argentina visa?

    After successfully attending the visa interview, the visa will be processed in 5 working days.

  • add What should be done if my Argentina visa gets rejected?

    In the case of an Argentina visa rejection, the Embassy will state the reason for rejecting your visa application. Also, applicants must note that having an Argentina visa gives the possibility to travel to the country, but the entry to Argentina territory is subject to the final decision of the Immigration and Health Authorities in the country.
