Starting September 2025, Laos will introduce the Lao Digital Immigration Form (LDIF), replacing paper arrival and departure cards for foreign travelers. All foreign nationals including Indian passport holders must complete the LDIF online at least three days before travel. This process is separate from applying for a Laos visa online.

Once submitted, travelers receive a QR code valid for three days, which must be shown at border checkpoints once you get down from after arriving on flights to Laos. Azerbaijan has announced simplified visa procedures for international visitors attending the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Baku, scheduled for 19-21 September 2025. From 25 August to 30 September 2025, foreign nationals and stateless people can get a visa on arrival at Azerbaijan’s international airports by showing an official F1 ticket, purchase confirmation, or accreditation from Formula One Management, FIA, or Baku City Circuit.
