An island in the Indonesian archipelago, Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world known for its beaches, temples, spas and nightlife. The dramatic landscapes of Bali are made up of rugged mountains, sandy beaches, gushing rivers and rolling plains. The main cities on the Bali are the capital Denpasar, the beach resort of Kuta and Ubud, the cultural heart of the island.   

Kuta is the quintessential resort town and one of South Bali’s oldest tourist hubs. The busy town has an array of cafes, restaurants, shops, bars and thriving clubs that cater the every budget and taste. Kuta offers bang for your buck with luxuries spas, fancy hotels, sprawling malls and excellent restaurants. Make sure to visit the Beachwalk Shopping Center for some al fresco shopping with your Bali tour package. Upside Down World and Waterbom are some of the other attractions in Kuta frequented in Bali packages. Waterbom is arguably the best water park in Asia with scores of attractions ranging from easy to extreme. The family friendly park also has a spa, restaurants and pools to keep you busy all day. A visit to Upside Down World is another great photo opportunity in home where everything is, literally, upside down. You can strike whacky poses and have fun as you hang from the ceiling on this crazy trip that’s a great detour on your Bali tour package. While you’re in Kuta, you must visit Kuta Beach, the most famous in the region with coral reefs in the shallow waters and incredible surfing opportunities.

Ubud is located in the interior of the island with acres of terraced paddy fields, lush vegetation and swaying palm trees. The cultural heart of Bali, Ubud is known for its yoga schools, temples and artisans. Enjoy meditation, adventure, healing, yoga, exploration and authentic Balinese dining experiences. While you are in Ubud, do make Bali Safari and Marine Park a part of your Bali tour package. The park is one of the most visited attractions on the island. Spread across 40 acres, it is home to over 60 species that live in enclosures that mimic their natural habitats. Part of several Bali packages, the Bali Safari and Marine Park promises a fun day for families and solo travellers as you tour the park on a safari bus and spot tigers, orangutans, elephants, giraffes and zebras.  On the outskirts of Ubud, you will find the Ubud Monkey Forest also known as the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal. This forest sanctuary is home to hordes of grey long tailed macaques. Enjoy a walk through the nutmeg forest and watch the monkeys play in moss covered temples, laze around and swing on the canopies. From the rice fields of Bali, make your way to the mountains of Kintamani.  The Kintamani Volcano or Mount Batur dominates this stretch of lava slopes, lush greenery and the stunning Lake Batur. Mount Batur is a popular destination for trekking. On your Bali tour package, hike up the mountain at dawn to see the most magical sunrise you have ever seen. A short walk from the mountain leaves you at Lake Batur. A picturesque expanse of blue green water, the crater lake draws tourists and locals alike. We also recommend visiting the hot springs by the lake that is said to have medicinal, curative properties. You could also visit the isolated Balinese village of Trunyan that is known for its peculiar open air cemetery.  Another Ubud landmark that should be a part of your Bali tour package is the Goa Gajah Elephant Cave. Despite its name, you will not find any elephants here. What you will find, however, are stunning temples, fountains and gardens dating back to the 10th century. The complex is adorned with beautiful stone carvings of the Hindu and Buddhist traditions. The highlands of Ubud deserve a place in all Bali packages.

From the highlands of Ubud make your way to the beaches of Seminyak. Possible the most fashionable of Bali’s resort towns, Seminyak finds itself on most Bali packages. The resort town is known for its glamorous hotels, beach clubs, high-end boutiques and fancy eateries. Visit the town’s glitzy restaurants, catch some waves and sample some traditional Balinese fare on your Bali tour package. One of the town’s biggest attractions is the Petitenget Temple. Hidden among five star resorts and boutique hotels, this ancient temple is the heart of religious and cultural life in Seminyak. The tree lined streets and pavilion leading up to the temple often has young Balinese dancers, practicing their moves. Seminyak’s biggest draw is its beach. Echo Beach is one of Bali’s most popular surf spot’s because of its reef breaks, 180 degree sea scapes and seaside seafood cafes. Another great beach that you must visit on your Bali tour package is Blue Ocean Beach. A 500m long stretch of golden sand, the beach is the perfect place in Seminyak to soak up some sun, get your feet wet and enjoy a delicious meal by the sea. You could also have some fun indoors with a trip to Dream Museum Zone. This interactive art gallery is a stop on many Bali packages and is filled with 120 unique 3D artworks that will serve as backdrops for your photographs.   The town is also home to several art galleries hosting contemporary art like the Nyaman Gallery and Biasa Art Space that the art buff in you will love. Before you leave, don’t forget to watch the sunset on Seminyak Beach, sure to be one of the most magical moments of your Bali tour package.

A favourite of Bali packages is the former fishing village of Tanjung Benoa, now known for its adrenaline pumping water sports. Enjoy fishing tours, jet skis, banana boats and parasailing as well as newer attractions like underwater sea walks, water jetpacks and flying fish. Tanjung Benoa Beach is one of the most picturesque stretches in Bali with turquoise waters and white sands lined with resorts, cafes and shops. Also visit the Caow Eng Bio temple on your Bali tour package. One of Bali’s oldest Chinese temples, it is a beautiful structure with elaborate carvings, bright red walls and an ornate wooden door.

No Bali tour package will be complete without a trip to the Tanah Lot Temple.  Located in Tabanan, a short drive from the Balinese capital Denpasar, the temple sits on a large rock on the ocean. Built in the 16th century, the temple is dedicated to Dewa Baruna or Bhatara Segara, the god of the sea. The temple is a cultural icon in Indonesia and frequented by most Bali packages.
