While travelling with Air Arabia flights, you can select the weight of your baggage while booking your trip. The Air Arabia Baggage Allowance allows you to carry luggage weighing 20, 30 or 40 kg without restrictions on the number of pieces. Air Arabia tickets do not provide a free luggage allowance, so you must purchase them as per your needs. The below-mentioned Air Arabia extra baggage charges per kg vary, depending on your destination and location. The fees apply for only one way of the journey:

For passengers flying to or from the UAE, baggage fee prices:

  • One piece of 20 kg baggage: AED 15
  • One piece of 30 kg baggage: AED 15
  • Two pieces of 30 kg baggage: 20 AED
  • Two pieces of 40 kg baggage: 30 AED

For passengers flying to or from Egypt, baggage fee prices:

  • One piece of 20 kg or 30 kg baggage: EGP 120
  • Two pieces of 30 or 40 kg baggage: EGP 200

This does not apply to passengers boarding at Cairo, as they get access to a 30 kg allowance of checked baggage unless mentioned otherwise.

For passengers flying to or from Morocco, baggage fee prices:

  • 15 kg: EUR 15
  • 20 kg: EUR 20
  • 25 kg: EUR 30
  • 30 kg: EUR 40
  • 40 kg: EUR 60

If you’re flying to Morocco, Egypt, or the UAE, your luggage dimensions should not exceed a total of 158 cm. The Air Arabia baggage weight mustn’t exceed 32 kg per bag. Passengers flying to Bangladesh must ensure their check-in baggage is not of an irregular shape or packed in a carton box. The above-given prices also apply to the Air Arabia baggage allowance from India.

The above-mentioned baggage options are only available if you purchase online or by contacting the call centre. If you plan to purchase the Air Arabia baggage allowance economy or other Classes you can only avail of a 20 kg luggage allowance. Air Arabia Cabin Baggage Rules

As per the Air Arabia Baggage allowance, all passengers can carry cabin baggage weighing up to 10 kg. Each baggage should not exceed the dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. The dimensions and weight should include the pockets, handle, and wheels.  Besides the main cabin baggage, passengers can also carry another handbag, like a laptop bag, purse, or a satchel, with the Air Arabia baggage dimensions not exceeding 25x33x20 cm. You must ensure that this bag fits under the seat in front of you.

Passengers flying with infants younger than 2 years are entitled to an additional Air Arabia baggage allowance carry on of 3 kg, which must also fit under the seat in front of you. If your baggage exceeds the Air Arabia baggage size and weight allowance, you must pay a fee starting at AED 100.

  • Flammable and Non-flammable gases, or poisonous gases like butane, propane, oxygen, and aqualung cylinders.
  • Liquids and solids like lighters, heater fuels, paints, and matches, which are flammable.
  • Insecticides, weed killers, cyanide, arsenic and other poisonous substances.
  • Oxidising materials, radioactive materials, and organic peroxides.
  • Explosives and firearms like automatic weapons, handguns, ammunition, and munitions.
  • Bacteria, viruses, and other infectious substances.
  • Mercury, alkalis, acids, wet-cell batteries and other corrosives.
  • Cooking oils.
  • Cigarette lighters and striking matches.

If such items are in your baggage, it will only cause delays to your vacation since you cannot board the flight with the above-mentioned items.

All animals, including service animals, cannot fly with Air Arabia except Falcons flying with their handlers. When bringing a Falcon on board, it is essential to inform the airline 48 hours before boarding time. If you’re bringing along more than one Falcon, you must reserve an additional seat under Air Arabia baggage rules. The policy permits two Falcons per seat, excluding free baggage allowance.

The only seats allotted to the Falcon Flyers are away from the emergency exits and at the aircraft’s rear cabin. Every passenger flying with a Falcon aboard will have to pay three times the ticket amount to transport the animal.
