Korean Air Baggage Allowance

The most necessary Korean Air flight information you must know about before you complete the Korean Air flight booking is baggage allowance. Depending on your class of travel and destination, you must follow certain weight, quantity, and size dimensions for your baggage. Here are a few details:

Cabin Baggage

Passengers flying to domestic and international destinations in economy class are allowed to bring one cabin bag weighing up to 10 kg, with total dimensions of 115 kg. You can also carry another personal item like a laptop bag or handbag, with dimensions of 40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm.

Those flying in the Prestige and First class can carry two cabin bags, not exceeding 18 kg in total. The dimensions of each baggage must not exceed a total of 115 cm. Passengers must ensure that their cabin baggage fits snugly in the cabin overhead or under the seat in front.

Check-in Baggage

Passengers flying within Korea in the Economy Class must maintain a baggage weight limit of 20 kg, and those in the Prestige Class must not exceed 30 kg. Infants on domestic flights are allowed to get a foldable stroller or bassinet. Kids can follow the same luggage allowance as adults, with an additional stroller or bassinet allowance; this also applies to international travel.

Those flying to international destinations, except for Brazil and America, by economy class can check in one bag weighing up to 23 kg. If you’re flying to America, you can follow the same baggage allowance policy, as mentioned above, except for Economy Class, excluding Saver flights, where you can carry 2 bags, weighing up to 23 kg each. Those flying to Brazil in the Economy class, including saver flights, can carry 2 bags, each weighing a maximum of 23 kg. Prestige passengers travelling to any international destination can carry 2 bags, and First Class passengers can carry 3 bags, weighing up to 32 kg per bag. The dimensions of all checked-in baggage must not exceed a sum of 158 cm; these dimensions also apply to domestic flights. Infants flying to international destinations can carry a 10 kg bag with dimensions measuring 115 cm in total, and an additional bassinet or stroller. You’ll have to pay a baggage fee if your luggage exceeds the mentioned weight or dimensions. The fees differ as per your destination.
