Thai Airways Baggage Allowance

The most important Thai Airways flight information you must know before you book car rental service to get to the Airport is the baggage allowance to avoid fines and delays. All passengers must follow a weight allowance, depending on their travel class, unless they’re flying to and from Canada and the US, which follows a piece allowance.

Cabin Baggage

The baggage must exceed the weight of 7 kg and be larger than the size dimensions of 126cm in total, including handles, wheels, and pockets. The baggage should fit in the overhead cabin or under the seat in front of you. You can also carry another handbag or laptop bag free of charge in the cabin, which must not exceed the weight of 1.5 kg and total size dimensions of 75 cm. Passengers can also carry infant food and walkers or crutches if needed.

Check-in Baggage

Economy: 2 pieces weighing 23 kg each.

Royal Silk Class/Royal First Class: 2 pieces weighing 32 kg each.

Passengers travelling in all classes must maintain the luggage size dimensions, which is a total of 158 cm. Royal Orchid Plus Gold and Platinum card members can carry one more baggage with the above-mentioned allowance despite the travel class. Those with additional baggage will have to pay a fee in Thai Baht for every kg, depending on the travel destination.
