The national airline of Uganda is Uganda Airlines (IATA: UR, ICAO: UGD). The business is an expansion of the earlier Uganda Airlines, which ran from 1977 to 2001. The present airline started operating in August 2019. The company’s headquarters are situated inside Entebbe International Airport in the Wakiso District, which is about 34 kilometers (21 miles) by road south of Kampala, the country’s capital and largest city.
After pausing scheduled passenger service for six months as a result of travel bans brought about by the COVID-19 epidemic, Uganda Airlines gradually restored scheduled passenger service on October 1, 2020. Uganda Airlines Booking Classes
There are two ways to fly with Uganda Airlines:
Economy Class: Snacks are offered and there are comfy seats in economy class on the flight. Passengers can pre-book their meals online and place orders for meals. The travelers have the option of upgrading from Economy Class to Business Class.
Business Class: Passengers travelling in business class have access to the lounges. The customers can take advantage of priority check-in and boarding. They can unwind and enjoy the additional legroom on board. Delicious meals and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages are available for passengers.

Carry-on Baggage
One carry-on bag and one personal item per passenger are permitted. The personal item must be 18.5′′ x 8.5′′ x 13.5′′ and the carry-on bag must be 10′′ x 16′′ x 24′′. Anything larger than those limits must be transported as checked luggage, which could cost money. Personal items include things like purses, briefcases, cameras, and laptop bags.
Baggage Checked In:
Passengers travelling in economy class are entitled to two free checked bags, each of which can only weigh 23 kg. Business and First Class travelers are entitled to two free checked baggage with a combined weight limit of 32 kg each.
Uganda Airlines Onboard Support
Passengers traveling in Economy Class are permitted to bring one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7 kg and one piece of check-in luggage weighing 23 kg, while those traveling in Business Class are permitted to bring one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 7 kg, one small briefcase weighing up to 5 kg, and one piece of check-in luggage weighing 30 kg. Online check-in is available for passengers 24 hours to 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Three hours prior to departure, customers can also check in at the airport check-in desks.
