An approved electronic visa is emailed to the applicant in a PDF (Acrobat Reader) format which will contain a unique identification number. The Singapore visa can be printed on an A4 sheet of paper and presented to the immigration officer together with the passport and completed landing card at passport control.
- The Singapore visa is valid for a period of up to 2 years and one can stay for 30 days on each visit.
- The Visa allows the travelerto stay and travel in Singapore for a period of 30 days. These 30 days can be utilised through multiple entries over 2 years from the date of issue of the Visa. Onewon’t have to reapply for a Singapore Tourist Visa within this period.
- The Singapore High Commission does not accept any walk-in visa applications. Instead, the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore has designated many Authorized Visa Agents to process Singapore visa applications. Indians can apply for Singapore visa using these Authorized Agents only.
- Travellers must have confirmed onward or return ticket and enough money to cover the expenses of their visit to Singapore. Furthermore, they must have valid documents (including visas, if required) to their onward destinations.
- Singapore Tourist Visa application can take anywhere between 1 day andmaximum 5 days to get processed
- Possession of a visa does not entitle a foreigner to enter Singapore automatically. The grant of a visit pass to foreign visitor is determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at the Singapore checkpoints and each case is considered on its own merits.
