Day 1

| Kandy

Pick Up from Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo & Transfer to Kandy. Lying amidst the hills, Kandy is the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka. While being the second largest city in Sri Lanka it is also famous for its immense beauty and is named as one of the seven UNESCO declared World Heritage sites in the country. With its luxuriant prairie, picturesque lake, Longest River of the country and misty mountains, Kandy successfully mesmerizes every visitor unsurprisingly. Heavily jeweled with a rich and colorful history is witnessed through the numerous shrines and temples as well as frescoes, ancient paintings and stone carvings. Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Kandy lake Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. Over the years, it was reduced in size. Kandy market place, Kandy view point, Kandy city center. Kandy City Centre is a ten storey commercial and retail complex which is located in Kandy, Sri Lanka near the Temple of Tooth Relic. Construction of the centre was started in 1993 and it was opened in 2005. Royal Botanic Gardens. It attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is near the Mahaweli River. It is renowned for its collection of orchids.

Day 2

| Kandy

You will be dropped to Rafting spot then prepare yourself by safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing will be given by white water rafting instructors beforehand. Then you will begin your journey in the picturesque Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. The distance covered is around 5 KMs. The river and its surrounding will make you feel enchanted, with a memorable Experience during your White Water Rafting Tour in Kithulgala.

Day 3

| Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast we will transfer to Nuwara Eliya. On arrival we visit the Victoria Peak. The Victoria Park is a public park located in Nuwara Eliya, next to the Nuwara Eliya Post Office in Sri Lanka. Originally the park was the research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden. Gregory lake is a reservoir in heart of the tea country hill city, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Lake Gregory was constructed during the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873 Golf course The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club is one of the oldest Golf Clubs in Sri Lanka. Established in the late 19th century, it is located in the hill station of Nuwara Eliya. It is an 18-hole golf course.

Day 4

| Nuwara Eliya

Horton Plains National Park is situated in the Central Province of Sri Lanka of Nuwara Eliya District. Horton Plains is a beautiful, silent, strange world with some excellent hikes in the shadows of Sri Lanka’s second- and third-highest mountains, Kirigalpotta (2395m) and Totapola (2359m). The “plains” themselves form an undulating plateau over 2000m high, covered by wild grasslands and interspersed with patches of thick forest, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls and misty lakes. The surprising diversity of the landscape is matched by the wide variety of wildlife. The plateau comes to a sudden end at World’s End, a stunning escarpment that plunges 880m.

Day 5

| Tissamaharama

Today after breakfast we proceed to Yala National Park. Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public and also adjoining parks. The blocks have individual names such as, Ruhuna National Park (block 1) and Kumana National Park or 'Yala East' for the adjoining area. It is situated in the southeast region of the country, and lies in Southern Province and Uva Province. The park covers 979 square kilometres (378 sq mi) and is located about 300 kilometres (190 mi) from Colombo. Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds.

Day 6

| Tissamaharama

The park provides jeeps with soft tops which afford better opportunities in viewing wild life. Dawn and dusk bring about the best timing for safari tours in the Yala National Park. Being located in one of the arid regions of Sri Lanka; the Climate of Ruhuna National Park is usually hot and dry. The main annual rainfall is during the North east monsoon from November to January while unpredictable inter-monsoonal rains occur in March or April. February is a driest month, but the main dry season spreads from June to October. About 44 species of mammals are resident in Yala National Park, and it has one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Apart from that there are Sri Lankan sloth bear, Sri Lankan elephant, wild water buffalo, toque macaque, golden palm civet, red slender loris, and fishing cat can been seen in the park. Yala also has about 215 species of bird. Among this six are endemic to Sri Lanka. Visitors are allowed to see the wild animals from 5.30 am to 6.30 pm. Due to droughts the park may close to tourists in September annually. These dates may vary from year to year and depending on rainfall, the park may sometime remain open year around.

Day 7

| Bentota

Transfer to Bentota. On arrival in Bentota, you will enjoy a boat ride along the Madu River. It is a scenic tour relaxing and interesting while passing many islets forested with mangroves and experience the natural rhythms as well. A beautiful river mixed with sea water. The both banks of the river covered with mangroves and Species of various plants. You can see beautiful small islands speeded over the area.

Day 8

| Bentota

Early morning we drive to Mirissa, to watch whales. Once you arrived there you will embark to the boat which is waiting to sail to see the whales. There you will see the fin whales, sei whales, sperm whales, orcas (killer whales), dolphins, flying fish, turtles, manta rays and whale sharks. After enjoying the whale watching you will drive to Hotel. Enroute we will do Galle City Tour where we have opportunity to see Galle Fort in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, and then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. Rest of the Day is at Leisure

Day 9

| Colombo

Enjoy your last morning in Sri Lanka before checking out and being transferred to the airport, where you will depart for your destination with bags full of souvenirs and happy memories.
