Day 1

| Almaty

Arrive at Almaty International Airport. After clearing border control & customs are local representative will meet you & transfer to your hotel in Almaty. The mountainous city of Almaty is Kazakhstan's financial and cultural capital. Almaty is a garden city surrounded by majestic mountains of the Trans-Ili Alatau covered with evergreen coniferous forest. So Almaty conquers the hearts of travellers at their first glance. This city is surprising with its scale - huge majestic modern buildings, endless green alleys and avenues, and all of this is surrounded by snow-white mountain peaks. You have free time to explore Almaty on your own in the evening.

Day 2

| Almaty

The charming city of Almaty is the former capital of the country but blessed with historical sights, culture and other attractions. The sightseeing tour starts in the central part of Almaty. Stop to explore monuments that include- the Palace of President, Republic Square and Monument of Independence, and Astana Square, Abai Square and Palace of Republic.
Continue with your trip to one of the oldest parks in the city-Panfilov Park. In addition, stop to marvel at one of the unique wooden buildings in the world, the Zenkov Cathedral. Proceed to a visit of the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, dedicated to the memory of the fighters who died for freedom and independence of the country.
Later in the evening we Visit Kok Tobe Hill. Kok Tobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty standing on a 1100 m hill at the south-east edge of the city. It is worth a visit to Kok Tobe because of its panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach the Kok Tobe hill, one should take a cable car ride which starts near Hotel Novotel and goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit growing gardens. Once you reach the Kok Tobe hill, you would see the famous 372 m high TV Tower which is visible from far and offers great views of the mountains and the city plus many attractions at the top including many restaurants serving cuisines from across the globe.

Day 3

Enjoy breakfast at 07:00 AM, Around 08:00 AM we proceed for a day trip to Kolsay Lake & Charyn Canyon. Kolsay Lakes (Known as the “Pearl of the Tien Shan,” the Kolsai Lakes are situated about 300 km from Almaty, nestled in the Kungei-Alatau mountain range, often referred to as “Kazakh Switzerland.” This stunning destination features three breathtaking mountain lakes, each surrounded by dramatic slopes and forming a cascading series. The lower Kolsai Lake lies at 1,800 meters above sea level, the middle lake at 2,250 meters, and the highest at 2,800 meters, creating a mesmerizing natural staircase of pristine beauty. Later we head to Charyn Canyon often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Asia, known for it’s dramatic rock formations. Enjoy the seven canyons throughout the valley of canyons & Charyn River in the end. Return to Almaty for an overnight stay, where you can unwind and reflect on your adventure

Day 4

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. In just 1 hour, you can get from Almaty city center to its highest point (3200 meters) and drink coffee in the highest bar in the CIS using 3 tier world-class Gondola. On Shymbulak, you can have a great time even if you can’t ski or snowboard. An all-day entertainment for the whole family is provided by cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine, an observation deck with powerful binoculars that rotate 360 degrees and a playground. For those who want to enjoy the mountain silence and admire the snowy slopes, the resort offers high-class hotels and various kinds of adventure activities such as Zip Lining, Paragliding, Horse riding etc.
Later in the evening we proceed for Panfilov & Arbat Walking Tour. Evening walk around Panfilov promenade. The promenade which overlooks the Kazakh Opera & Ballet theatre is lined with small shops, eateries, and cafes & beautiful lights. You will enjoy hearing many local musicians singing songs & playing local musical instruments. The tour will end on Arbat Street with lots of shopping outlets and street entertainment

Day 5

| Almaty

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Around 10:00 AM depart for tour of Issyk Lake. Issyk (or Isik- another name for the lake, translated as “a door” from Kazakh) is a picturesque, alpine lake surrounded by unusually beautiful nature of thick forests and spacious flower fields. Explore the crystal-clear green water surrounded by mountains at Lake Issyk. Later in the afternoon we return to Almaty & explore the Arbat Street. Arbat Street or the Zhybek Zholy Street is Almaty’s main shopping street which is spread from Abylaikhan Avenue to Furmanov Street and is best explored on foot. While walking down, one can see the diversity of shopping in the area. This pedestrian shopping street is famous for having the TSUM Shop which is a cross between a department store and a bazaar and is mostly used by the local residents to fulfil their daily needs. And while walking if you want to relax, look no further because this street has all sorts of cafes and restaurants, from high dining to local food, you name it and this street has it. We will experience the sights, scents, and flavors of this lively Green Bazaar & Indulge your sweet tooth with a visit to Rakhat Chocolate Factory

Day 6

| Almaty

Depending on your flight times we will transfer you to Almaty International Airport for your flight to onward destination. We hope you had a wonderful time in Almaty and we hope to see you soon on our other travel programs
