Day 1

| Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. Our local representative will meet you after clearing immigration formalities and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight stay at a hotel in Nairobi.

Day 2

| Tsavo West

Depart Nairobi at 7:00 am for a scenic transfer to Tsavo West, famous for its dramatic landscapes and rich wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon or evening game drive in search of elephants, lions, and other iconic African animals, followed by a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3

| Tsavo West

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of exciting game drives in Tsavo West National Park, exploring its diverse landscapes of volcanic hills, open savannahs, and lush wetlands. Take in the breathtaking Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters are home to hippos and crocodiles, and search for elephants, lions, leopards, and giraffes along the way. A delicious picnic lunch will be served in the heart of the wilderness, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4

| Amboseli

After an early breakfast, transfer to the world-famous Amboseli, and enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of plains game. End your day with a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5

| Amboseli

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives in Amboseli, exploring its vast open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands beneath the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Spot large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and a colourful array of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served in the heart of the park, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6

| Nairobi

After a relaxed breakfast, begin your day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli, enjoying the cool air and golden light as the wildlife comes to life beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. After a delicious lunch, our representative will smoothly transfer you to Nairobi Airport (around 5 pm) for your onward flight.
Every adventure has an ending, but the magic of Kenya will stay with you forever.

Cancellations received less than 40 days prior to aarival will be subject to the following cancellation fees;

  • 40 - 31 days is 30% of the tour cost
  • 30 - 16 days is 50% of the tour cost
  • 15 – 6 days is 75% of the tour cost
  • 5 days – No Show is 100% of the tour cost

Shoulder Season (02nd January – 28th February; June; 01st October – 19th December)
Cancellations received less than 50 days prior to arrival will be subject to the following cancellation fees;

  • 50 - 41 days is 30% of the tour cost
  • 40 - 31 days is 50% of the tour cost
  • 30 – 15 days is 75% of the tour cost
  • 14 days – No Show is 100% of the tour cost

Terms & Conditions

  1. All quotations are based on current Government Park Tariffs. Park fees are subject to change without prior notice.
  2. It is mandatory for travellers returning to some countries from Kenya to be in possession of a valid Yellow Fever Certificate; and currently a COVID vaccination certificate. As well, anyone entering Kenya should have a COVID negative PCR certificate taken less than 72hrs prior to arrival. Costs of any tests/vaccinations are NOT included in the quote above. Kindly reconfirm on the requirements before confirming any booking.
  3. A Maximum of 2 Singles will be extended per group at Single Room Rate. Any additional Single rooms will be charged at double room rate.
  4. Tourists’ Visa to Kenya should be applied for online on http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html as manual visa on arrival is no longer available.
  5. Personal travel insurance cover is recommended for all visitors to East Africa
  6. Akbar Holidays shall NOT be liable for any excursions or extra services NOT booked through our offices while on tour.
  7. Please restrict baggage per person to 15 kilos if you are taking a domestic flight and 20 kilos if you are doing a road safari. Soft bags are preferable
  8. Kenya joins over 40 countries that have made plastic bags illegal in a positive effort to reduce the impact on our environment. However, there may be implications for our guests travelling to this region, as the use, manufacture and importation of all plastic bags is now illegal in Kenya. The ban applies to:
  9. • Carrier bags with handles & with or without gussets.
  10. • Flat bags without handles & without gussets.
  11. Please take note that if you are travelling to Kenya, plastic bags that match the above description, including duty free bags, will be confiscated at the airport. There is however a bigger risk that if anyone is caught using these plastic bags, the fine is Ksh. 4, 000, 000 (approximately USD 38 000) or prison sentences of up to four years.
  12. Single use plastic is not allowed in the Kenyan protected areas. Kindly bring along your refillable water bottles.
