Depart after breakfast and climb into the hills, through rubber and spice into tea, with stops at the Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls and the valley viewpoints. Arrive Munnar in the afternoon and check in. Evening at leisure.

Early start for Eravikulam National Park, reached by Forest Department bus, where the Nilgiri Tahr grazes the high grassland. Descend from the hills to the backwaters and board your private houseboat at Alleppey around midday.
