However, from October to April, the temperature is generally cooler – with the best time entirely being from November to March. If you prefer the quieter season, the height of summer is a great time to go for less crowds but, be warned, temperatures can reach 45 C. The good news is that Dubai is fantastic all year round and the only real factor you need to consider is how much sunshine you think you can take!

Dubai is one of the safest cities in the world. Crime is not one of the things that should be of concern while travelling there.
If you’re travelling during Ramadan, you must know what to expect. You cannot eat, drink or smoke in public places between sunrise and sunset each day. Most restaurants are closed (or only deliver). Entertainment such as loud music, dancing, etc. is prohibited throughout the month so clubs usually stay shut. Alcohol is served after the sunset prayers in most bars, but no music and parties happen. You’re also expected to be dressed conservatively during this period.
Being a conservative country, everyone is advised to dress modestly and respectfully in public places. Both women and men must cover their shoulders and legs when out in public.
One must avoid shorts that are too short and tops that show shoulders and mid-riff. This not only applies to women but also to men. It would be best to stick to long pants (capri pants are acceptable) and t-shirts and tops with sleeves. If you are wearing shorts, make sure that they are not too short. Booty shorts, hot pants, miniskirts, etc. are really not acceptable in public places.
