1. What Is the New Kuwait Cash Declaration Rule?\"What<\/h2>\n

Travellers entering or leaving Kuwait with more than KD 3,000 in physical cash must declare the amount to customs. Moreover, the limit covers the combined value of Kuwaiti dinars and any foreign currencies carried during the journey.<\/p>\n

The rule applies to Kuwaiti citizens, expatriate residents, tourists and business travellers. Similarly, it applies at Kuwait International Airport, land border crossings and seaports. Therefore, passengers cannot avoid the requirement by using a different entry or departure point.<\/p>\n
