Ms. Ashiya Nazar, the dynamic, enterprising, and charming daughter of Mr. K V Abdul Nazar (Chairman of Akbar Group International) is the Director of the company handling the GCC operations.
Ms. Ashiya, who holds a degree in Business Management, gained experience in various aspects of the travel industry at a young age while working with her father. Following in his footsteps, she is currently involved in all levels of the business to ensure its continued success. She is a highly adaptable, dedicated, enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, responsible, and hard-working individual actively developing Akbar Travels’ GCC business.

With a total strength of 500 plus staffs in the GCC, Ms. Ashiya personally looks after the entire operation with a team of professionals supporting her. With Akbar Travels GCC headquarters in UAE, Ms. Ashiya is focusing on a larger development of the GCC operations based from her base in the UAE. With the idea of women empowerment Ms Ashiya was instrumental in having tie-ups with governmental organization through which local ladies were given opportunity to work with us in different departments. Akbar Travels Bahrain and KSA offices have more of local women working in different departments. The same will be implemented in her other offices in the GCC.
