For someone adventurous, you can actually go zip-lining, or Flying Fox as it is commonly known inside the fort, which gives you a bird\u2019s eye view of the gardens and the desert lakes. 2. Umaid Bhawan Palace<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Umaid Bhawan is a magnificent palace located on Chittar hill which is the highest point in the whole city. The Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace is spread over 26 acres of lush grounds including 15 acres of well-kept lush gardens. The royal residence has 347 rooms, an exquisite throne chamber, an exclusive private meeting hall, a Durbar Hall to meet the public, a vaulted banquet hall, private dining halls, a ball room, a library, an indoor swimming pool and spa, long passages and part of the palace also houses a museum. 3. Mandore Gardens<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This cenotaph holds some exceptional portraits of former maharajas of Jodhpur and is a must visit.<\/p>\n

This serene lake is an artificial lake, constructed in the year 1872 by Pradip Singh. The lake is spread over 84 square km and is a tremendously scenic picnic spot, located on the west of city.
