Day 1

| Istanbul

Arrival at Istanbul Airport, Transfers to Hotel, Check in & Evening Rest for leisure. Istanbul is a major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. Its Old City reflects cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled here. In the Sultanahmet district, the open-air, Roman-era Hippodrome was for centuries the site of chariot races, and Egyptian obelisks also remain. The iconic Byzantine Hagia Sophia features a soaring 6th-century dome and rare Christian mosaics. Overnight in Istanbul

Day 2

| Istanbul

After Breakfast, Visit to the Blue Mosque with six minarets, which was built at the bequest of Sultan Ahmet I, and is one of the best preserved and most significant examples of Ottoman architecture. Continue to Istanbul Hippodrome where chariot races were held. It was the center of Byzantium’s life for 1000 years and of Ottoman life for another 400 years and has been the scene of countless political dramas. Stop by Caferaga Medresesi, a cultural organization that teaches and promotes traditional Turkish handicrafts. The courtyard is home to the pleasant Caferağa Medresesi Çay Bahçesi tea garden. A small break for lunch in a local restaurant serving typical Turkish dishes will be served. The last stop of your journey is the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Its numerous shops are bursting with everything you can imagine, from jewelry to silk clothing, and traditional copperware to exotic, Oriental imports and many more hidden gems. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3

| Istanbul

After Breakfast, Explore Istanbul on a full-day cruise along the Bosphorus Strait and the waters of the Black Sea! With an onboard guide, learn about Istanbul and enjoy three stops to discover some of the landmarks. See where the city’s Ottoman-era sultans spent summer vacations at Ortaköy and Rumeli Hisarı Fortress, and take a tour of Küçüksu Palace-one of the city’s gems. Swim in the Black Sea at the coastal village of Poyrazkoy or explore the medieval ruins of Anadolu Kavağı. An onboard lunch featuring Turkish meze is also included. In the evening enjoy The Turkish Bath, which is a traditional type of public bathing which is essentially based on the ancient Roman bathing culture and the principles of the steam bath. Combining this with the traditional Turkish bath massage (“Turkish scrub”), it became an integral part of Turkish culture as well as an important part of social life. After sweating, the person in charge of scrubbing and foaming will scrub all the dead skin from your body. Do not worry, it does not hurt. You will be surprised how much dead skin will come off your body. After foaming, you can relax as long as you want in the Hammam.
