There are 17 hot water springs, with temperatures ranging from 35°C to 100°C. The water that emerges from the spring is transported 1,050 feet (320 meters) to the head of the travertine terraces, where it deposits calcium carbonate. Continue towards the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, built on the hot springs in classical Phrygia.
