Who, after all, could resist the Tuscan wine regions, Florence's Arno River, Rome's ancient splendor, and of course, a ton of pasta and wine?

If you intend to get lost and explore every nook and cranny of Italy's picturesque streets, even a full month may not be enough time, especially on our Italy honeymoon packages. Italy is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe and is a must-see country on our Italy tour packages from India. The canals of Venice, the Tuscan wine regions, the cobblestone alleys of Rome, the Arno river running through Florence, the cliffs of Positano, and more are just a few of this stunning nation's attractions on our Italy honeymoon packages.

Because of the architecture and surrounding scenery, Florence was one of our favorite cities. Seeing the sun set over the Arno River is an experience you won't soon forget on our Italy tour packages. You may spend days getting lost in Rome, one of the most famous and popular tourist destinations in all of Europe. Perhaps, part of your Italy trip cost from India, the Cinque Terre and all the towns along the Amalfi Coast are the most stunning places in all of Italy. Here are the top things to do on the Amalfi Coast on our Italy tour packages, which includes Positano, the crown jewel of the region and possibly the most scenic and romantic town in all of Italy.

The best time to visit on our Italy tour packages from India

Winter is the least expensive season to visit Italy if on your Italy honeymoon packages. The majority of tourists stay away at this time because of the colder weather, so you have the entire country to yourself to visit its world-class museums and galleries on our Italy trip packages.

Additionally, it will be simpler for you to locate inexpensive flights to Italy and you'll arrive in time for all the Christmas Markets.

Before the summer tourists arrive on our Italy honeymoon packages and the countryside is draped in a carpet of blooming flowers, April and May are another budget-friendly time.

However, summertime in Italy on our Italy tour packages is truly unmatched anywhere else. Even if it's packed, it's incredible!

Things to remember on our package holidays to Italy

Italian, when on our Italy tour packages from India, is the primary language used in Italy.

Italy uses the euro as its official currency.

Credit Cards and ATMs: As far as your Italy trip cost from India is concerned, you won't have any trouble locating ATMs that accept international credit cards in both large cities and smaller communities. The majority of stores, eateries, and tour companies also accept credit cards as payment. Cash is actually only needed for little transactions like subway fare and as much gelato as you can eat.

On your Italy travel packages, Italian plugs come in Type C, F, and L varieties. Both the standard voltage and frequency are 230 V and 50 Hz, respectively. I advise using a converter for hairdryers and other hot instruments and purchasing a universal adapter (make sure it has surge protection).

Italy is typically a secure place for female visitors traveling alone on our package holidays to Italy, but you should be on the lookout for pickpockets. Invest in an anti-theft bag and keep an eye on your possessions at all times to make sure you don't lose any priceless items.

Getting Around on our Italy tour packages from India: We love using the train when visiting Italy since you can unwind while you pass through the stunning countryside. They also have a ton of high-speed options when on our 7 days Italy tour package.

Places to visit on your Italy vacation packages

Cinque Terre

Prior to the railway's connection between the five cities by burrowing under the headlands separating them, which is to the north of La Spezia, which cling to the high, rocky Mediterranean coast, this place on our Italy packages was nearly impossible to access by land. The shortest and largest portion of the path, between Manarola and Riomaggiore, is known as the Via dell'Amore and will be blocked until sometime in 2022 owing to a landslide. The trail was originally utilized by inhabitants to travel between towns on our Italy trip packages.

Although the majority of visitors come with the intention of hiking the path on our Italy packages, don't discount the delights of spending time in these tiny settlements. The most charming towns are Riomaggiore and Vernazza on our Italy packages from India, with their winding alleyways leading to ports surrounded by small rocks. The Cinque Terre is still one of Italy's top tourist destinations if on our Italy packages from India, despite its recent surge in popularity.

Venice

Who wouldn't fall in love with a city where the roads are made of water, the buses are boats, and the gondoliers' lilting songs fill the air? It is a magical city you can explore on our 7 days Italy tour package, and the city itself is what draws most visitors. The expansive Piazza San Marco, often known as St. Mark's Square, serves as the city's center and is flanked by many of its key tourist destinations. The lofty Campanile towers above both the enormous Basilica of St. Mark and the Doge's Palace, which are both in Venice on our Italy honeymoon packages from India.

One of the most romantic activities on our Italy honeymoon packages from India is a gondola trip. At the Grand Canal's end of the plaza, gondolas assemble. On your route to Rialto Bridge, turn around and enter the warren of confined, twisting passages through the entrance beneath the clock tower in the other direction. But in Venice, where a picture-postcard vista is around every turn, being lost is one of the greatest joys on our Italy tour package from Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Kerala.

Positano

On your Italy tour package 5 days from India, if you don't go anywhere else, be sure you stop here because you might need some time in Positano to explore. Positano, once a crucial component of a strong maritime force, is today a chic resort community and the crown jewel of southern Italy's renowned Amalfi Coast on our Italy tour package for couple. From high slopes covered with pedestrian walkways and sweet-smelling wisteria, one can glimpse the Sirenuse Islands. The hamlet, part of your Italy tour packages price, is teeming with stylish establishments selling handmade leather shoes and ceramics with lemon themes. Try the fresh seafood and earthy wines at the town's many charming restaurants. Positano is a great starting point for exploring the region when on our Italy tour packages including airfare, because it is close to Capri, Ischia, and the Grotta dello Smeraldo via boat.

Florence

There is something for everyone in Florence, on our 14 days Italy tour package. From culture to history to excellent dining and fun on our 10 day Italy tour package, it is regarded as one of the most populated and prosperous cities in the world and is situated in central Italy. It is home to several works of art and the cradle of the Renaissance which you can explore as part of your Italy tour cost from India. Rolling hills surround Florence on all sides, and the city is filled with vineyards, orchid gardens, and luxuriantly landscaped homes. Florence has earned the distinction of being the most beautiful city in the entire world because to its rich architectural history and cultural diversity you will witness on our Italy packages from Delhi. This city has so much to discover that each time you visit, it will reveal a previously unknown depth on your India to Italy package.

Florence is home to some of the most stunning cathedrals and mosques that give serenity and quiet to visitors on our Italy tour packages from mumbai, in addition to the usual tourist attractions like museums and art galleries which are inclusive of your cost of Italy trip from India. These tell the narrative of its rich past. There are several parks and gardens where you may spend thrilling time with nature. Visitors may also enjoy a thriving nightlife on their Kolkata to Italy, Delhi to Italy and Mumbai to Italy tour package thanks to the abundance of top-notch pubs and clubs where they can drink, dance, and party til they drop.

There are many things to do in Florence on our Italy couple package, from taking a walking tour of the cobblestone streets to stocking up on trinkets at the neighborhood stores. You may also take a culinary tour on our Italy honeymoon packages 2022, of Florence's regional foods or take in a breathtaking perspective of the city from one of the tallest structures. The only time Florence has unpleasant weather is during the winter, when the temperature drops sharply and there is a cold that bites. Florence is best visited during the summer (mid-May to mid-July), when on your honeymoon trips to Italy, as a variety of events and activities are hosted.

Rome

Rome is the top destination with our Italy trip package from India and is on the list for the majority of visitors visiting Italy, both for its historical significance as the capital of most of ancient Europe and for its current status as one of the continent's most lively cities. On your Italy honeymoon packages all inclusive, discover The Colosseum, the Forum, the Pantheon, the Appian Way, and the Palatine Hill which are remnants of its former splendor, competing for attention with the Vatican's enormous wealth.

Take some time to take in the city itself in between seeing key sites on your Italy travel package from India like the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo's Pieta. Enjoy the Borghese Gardens, enjoy gelato on the Spanish Steps, stroll through Trastevere's winding lanes, drink morning cappuccinos in cafés, window-shop on the Via Veneto, and toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure future visits. To see everything as part of your Italy tour cost, many trips are necessary.

Tuscan Hill Towns

Stone villages in Tuscany that have Etruscan roots top the region's uneven terrain. They are all perched on hills, and several still have the castles and turrets that formerly provided protection for their dominant locations. Given that each has distinctive architecture, artwork, personalities, and narratives, it is challenging to pick one over the others. San Gimignano, which is surrounded by walls that are still mostly intact and is rather brimming with towers, still resembles as it did during the Middle Ages, when it was a significant halt for pilgrims traveling to Rome.

Before the Romans arrived, Volterra was a significant Etruscan center, and the city still has remnants from both cultures. Arezzo's tourist attractions on our Hyderabad to Italy tour packages are a result of the numerous writers, painters, and architects that have resided there. Walled Cortona, like Volterra, was an Etruscan settlement that subsequently became Roman, but it still retains traces of its Florentine history. One of the oldest towns in Italy is Cortona which you must visit on your Delhi to Italy package. Tuscany is home to several of the top tourist destinations in Italy due to its hill towns' closeness to the cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa, and Luca.

Milan

Milan is sometimes disregarded as a travel destination on its own on our all inclusive Italy trip, despite the fact that its airport serves as a significant entrance point for travellers. That's unfortunate because Milan is one of the cities in Italy with the largest concentration of creative and architectural sites, making a visit essential for anybody interested in design, fashion, or shopping. The likes of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Verdi, Enrico Caruso, Toscanini, and fashion designer Giorgio Armani have called Milan their home and place of employment.

The enormous cathedral known as Il Duomo in Milan is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the entire world and the best example of Flamboyant Gothic architecture. The most prominent opera theatre in the world, La Scala, hangs on a monastery wall, and the city is dotted with museums and palaces housing some of the best works of art in existence. A trip through the renowned Quadrilatero is something that no fashionista can resist.

Lake Como

Since the time of the ancient Romans, who escaped the summer heat of Milan to cool off in villas along its rocky shores, Como, Italy's most picturesque lake, has been a popular summer getaway for the affluent and famous. Later villas adorn its little cities, notably the lovely Bellagio, which is skillfully positioned at the intersection of the lake's three thin arms.

The snowy summits of the Alps to the north may be seen amongst palm trees and camellias on Como's western coast thanks to a microclimate that keeps it mild even in the dead of winter. Before boarding a ship to tour the lake, don't forget to stop in the southern shore town of Como. East of Lake Como lies Lake Garda, a summer playground with water sports and other activities, while just to the west of Lake Como is Lake Maggiore, which has its own charms.

Amalfi Coast

Naples Bay's southern rim is formed by the steep, precipitous Amalfi Peninsula, which projects sharply into the Mediterranean just south of Naples. There is perhaps no more picturesque or improbable location for the settlements that flow down its rocky slopes. Most of these charming communities have stairways for streets, and the homes there appear to be attached to the cliffs behind them. Everywhere there are blooming flowers, and below the villages are inviting beaches tucked away in emerald-colored bays. The village of Ravello is located high above the shore, where lavish gardens surround some of the best views of the coast.

One of the most beautiful drives in the world is the Amalfi Drive, which runs down the southern coast. You can also view the coast from the ocean by taking the 45-minute boat from Sorrento to Positano.

Capri & Sorrento

Only 20 kilometers away from Sorrento, the mythical Isle of Capri rises in rugged cliffs from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Roman emperors Augustus and Tiberius used it as a hideout, and now it draws a continuous stream of visitors who go there on the daily ferries and hydrofoils from Sorrento and Naples. Despite being quite small—just six kilometers at their longest point—Capri and Anacapri are located there. Smart stores and cafés in the lower town are where you may find people-watchers eager to spot a star. The magnificent Villa San Michele and its grounds are located in Anacapri.

A visit to the Blue Grotto, a sizable flooded grotto where reflected sunlight gives the water the appearance of being lighted from within, is one of the top things to do on Capri. The lovely Marina Piccola, a little beach at the base of the cliffs protected by the rugged Faraglioni sea stacks, is located on the other side of the island. The lovely village of Sorrento resembles Capri in that it appears to have been built for leisure. Naples with its port, Mount Vesuvius, and Capri are all visible from the vistas, which are framed by houses in bright colors and lemon trees. The town is ideal for exploring on foot, relaxing at a café, and taking day trips to places like Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, and Herculaneum.

Pisa and Lucca

While you're in Tuscany, you should definitely stop by these two neighbouring villages, one for the extraordinary Campo dei Miracoli complex and the other for its lovable characteristics. The famous Italian landmark known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is really the campanile for the nearby cathedral, is the focal point of a UNESCO World Heritage site that also includes the cathedral, baptistery, and Campo Santo.

The magnificent free-standing pulpit by Nicola Pisano, a masterpiece of Romanesque sculpture, is the focal point of the imposing baptistery. A museum showcasing some of the most exquisite gold and silver creations from the Middle Ages and Renaissance completes the whole. Nearby Lucca is one of Europe's most enchanting towns to discover and enjoy; it is encircled by broad walls, the top of which is a park with trees. Beautiful Romanesque and Tuscan Gothic churches, tower homes, including one that you may climb to the top, and a Roman arena that has been "fossilized" into an oval plaza can all be found inside the walls.

Verona

A sharp bend in the Adige River envelops this former Roman stronghold's condensed historic core. The impressively well-preserved first-century Roman arena, which serves as the setting for the famed summer opera festival, dominates the area. The medieval and Renaissance structures in Verona include a number of Roman arches, which demonstrate the city's lengthy involvement with the Venetian empire. The substantial Castelvecchio, a 14th-century fortress, is perched along the riverbank and guards the Ponte Scaligero, a brick-arched bridge.

Verona's strongest claim to tourist popularity is founded entirely on fiction, despite its extensive collection of architectural and artistic treasures. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet was set in Verona, and over the last century, the city's residents have complied by building residences, a balcony, and even a tomb for the imaginary couple. These are some of the best attractions in Verona.

Pompeii and Herculaneum

The prosperous Roman city of Pompeii was engulfed by Mt. Vesuvius' unexpected and dramatic eruption in AD 79, which left it buried beneath six meters of ash and pumice stone for more than a thousand years. Until excavations that started in the 18th century revealed more than half of the city's structures and public areas, the city remained stuck in time. Herculaneum was likewise covered in molten lava from the same eruption, but this time instead of ash. Therefore, the lava flowed in and filled the city from the bottom up, supporting walls and ceilings as it ascended and keeping them in place, as opposed to showering down and weighing down structures.

Organic elements like wood, textiles, and food were also preserved in this airtight seal, providing a more full picture of life in the first century. Eating utensils and even food have been kept exactly as they were at the time of the accident.

Siena

Throughout terms of arts and culture, Siena competed with Florence in the 13th and 14th centuries, and it still retains a plethora of artistic and architectural masterpieces. The majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, with its inlaid marble facade and striped bell tower, stands out among Siena's primarily red brick structures strikingly. The inside of the cathedral is a museum filled with the works of famous painters and sculptors including Donatello, Giovanni Pisano, Bernini, and Lorenzo Ghiberti.

But Siena's charms go beyond its art riches. Wide plazas and the city's meandering medieval alleyways provide for pleasant wandering areas. One of Europe's greatest medieval public squares is Piazza del Campo. The Palio, a chaotic horse race, is held twice each summer in this enormous, sloping main square.

Bologna

Bologna, home to the Basilica of Santo Stefano and the Sette Chiese (Seven Churches), is internationally recognized for its gastronomy and culinary prowess as well as for having Europe's oldest university. The magnificent arches provide shade from the sun and protection from the rain, and stores with authentic interiors from a century ago are located beneath them. Explore Via Galleria to see the historic palaces of the nobility.

The neighboring Piazza Maggiore and Piazza del Nettuno, home to the spectacular 16th-century Neptune Fountain and the Basilica of San Petronius' incomplete façade, are the focal points of life there. The atmospheric Santo Stefano, a complex of seven holy structures constructed by the Benedictines between the 10th and 13th centuries, is the other church worth seeing. Its two leaning towers, Asinelli and Garisenda, are tall, slender pillars made of stone and brick that are taller than Pisa's more well-known leaning tower. These are relics from the Middle Ages, when households had their own protective towers connected.

Naples

Similar to how Venice is defined by its canals and Florence is defined by the Renaissance, Naples will enthrall you with its sheer exuberance. It's a lively area, with crowded, noisy streets bursting with color and activity. Naples offers a wealth of sights, activities, and experiences, including majestic palaces opulently decorated with the treasures of European monarchy, churches brimming with priceless artifacts, and a world-class archaeological museum showcasing artifacts from the adjacent city of Pompeii.

Shop at the glass-domed Galleria Umberto I, take a ferry to the island of Capri or the enchanted Sorrento, stroll along the shoreline with residents to enjoy views of Mount Vesuvius across the bay, and by all means try some pizza—Neapolitans claim to have invented it.

Sicily

Seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites have been designated for the island of Sicily, including three for its ancient sites, two for its natural beauties, and two for its architectural masterpieces. Sicily is home to some of the best examples of ancient structures still standing today. One of the three most perfect Greek temples in the world is located in Agrigento's Valley of Temples, and 3,500 square meters of mosaics from Villa Romana del Casale in Enna decorate one of the most well-preserved villas from the Roman Empire.

The stunning golden-sand beaches and Mt. Etna-dominant landscapes of Sicily complement its top-notch attractions. Palermo's capital city is a bustling place with beautiful architecture and a wealth of color. Monreale Cathedral, a nearby gem of Norman architecture, with beautiful mosaics covering 6,340 square meters of its interior walls created by Sicilian and Constantinople-based craftsmen. One of Sicily's main tourist destinations, Monreale still exists today almost precisely as it did when it was constructed in the 1100s.

Turin

Turin, one of the major industrial cities of the north, is relatively small and compact (unlike Milan), making it simple to walk around and see the city's top attractions. The Savoys built it with a grandeur and a formal plan to demonstrate that they could surround themselves with opulence that matched Paris and were as regal as any European royal family.

The tone is established by the centrally located royal palaces and arcaded squares, but Turin's attractiveness extends beyond these features. Turin doesn't take itself too seriously, as seen by a riverfront park with a full-fledged faux-medieval hamlet, a tiny medieval section, Roman ruins, and entire neighborhoods of Art Nouveau. Don't miss the amazing Museum of Cinema in the former synagogue tower. Turin's contrasts as well as its opulent cafés and coffee shops will fascinate you.

Sardinia

This mysterious Mediterranean island, which contrasts sharply with Italy, seems to exist in a another universe. The jet-set haven of luxury enclaves along the northeast coast's Costa Smeralda is Sardinia's most famous feature, but the island has much more to offer the adventurous traveler or even the beach-loving sunbather. Mile after mile of white sand beaches round the whole south, while the untamed interior makes for excellent hiking and climbing terrain. Travelers who wish to discover lonely mountain towns where ancient customs not only endure but are a way of life should visit Sardinia.

The hundreds of strange round stone towers, or Nuraghe, that dot the whole island and rank high on the list of unusual places to visit in Italy are the most intriguing and interesting sights. These towers, holy wells, "huge graves," and other prehistoric constructions may be found all over the world. Whole Roman and Phoenician towns are waiting to be discovered.

Ravenna

Italia has no other ancient city like this one on the Adriatic. The best collection of Byzantine mosaics in Western Europe can be found here, all of which are in practically immaculate form. Ravenna's artistic roots are unlike any other; they are almost totally Byzantine. Theodoric the Great, a ruler of Ravenna in the sixth century, was born and raised in Constantinople, and Ravenna developed into a center for mosaic art, which peaked here.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site has seven structures that are embellished with some of the best works of mosaic art. Visit them all, but especially be sure to see the Neonian Baptistery from the early 5th century, the spectacular San Vitale interior, and the jewel-like Galla Placidia Mausoleum, which UNESCO says "one of the most artistically flawless" and "best conserved" of all mosaic monuments.

Puglia

Puglia would rank among the most popular tourist spots in the nation if it weren't so far away. If you imagine Italy as a boot, Puglia would be the heel, a long stiletto that juts out into the Adriatic Sea in the southeast. The Baroque style is prevalent throughout the city of Lecce's capital, including majestic churches with delicately carved golden limestone façade. The Salento, a mostly unspoilt coastline with rocky cliffs, towering headlands, and beaches in the deep bays between them, located at the extreme point of the heel. Some of Italy's most stunning beaches may be found along the western side of the Salento, stretching for miles in golden sand.

The Parco Naturale Regionale Costa Otranto guards the eastern shore. The charming hamlet of Otranto serves as the entry point to Baia dei Turchi's immaculate blue-flag beaches (see out the mosaics in its 12th-century church). You can view Albania's mountains across the Adriatic from the 15th-century fortress. You may visit Alberobello to witness the charming trulli villages, which are small communities of conical-roofed cottages that are now a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may stay in one of these modest homes while exploring the area. Several of the trulli at the Trulli Resort Monte Pasubio have been refurbished with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and other contemporary conveniences.

Genoa

The port city of Genoa has a rich heritage of some of Italy's most magnificent aristocratic mansions because to the riches from its nautical history. These marble examples of Italian art and architecture, which date from the 16th and 17th centuries, are Genoa's top tourist destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

However, don't ignore the Aquarium and the Maritime Museum, both of which have harbor views, or the winding, dramatic lanes of the former sailors' enclave above the Old Harbor. One of the greatest aquariums in Europe, it houses more than 10,000 aquatic species in a cutting-edge setting that mimics their natural habitats. Families particularly like visiting the Maritime Museum, which brings the age of sail to life for young visitors. Use the city's many funiculars to get around the hilly landscape, and don't pass up the chance to try some of Italy's best food.

Tuscany

Italy's Tuscany region is renowned for its art, architecture, museums, islands, and olive trees. This is a city with a rural appearance that is bordered by mountains and the sea. In Tuscany, you may go on a trip to see the vineyards, picturesque vistas, and farmer's kitchen. Both massive buildings and works of art in sculpture and painting abound. The food, cathedrals, and museums are all amazing. This lush region of Tuscany is a popular gourmet trip for food lovers. This restaurant is well-known for its culinary pleasures and uses only local ingredients for its meals and drinks.

You may see Florence's stunning and ancient cathedrals, travel a medieval pilgrimage path, and engage in some artistic endeavors. Visit the churches, the monuments, and the vintage shops here. As timeless as Tuscany's wines are its scenery. There are towns and villages on hillsides that are ideal for hiking and walking trips. You may explore the island and the woodland regions as well.
