We commence at Olympia's archaeological site, a sacred ground where the ancient Olympic Games were born. We explore both the magnificent museum and archaeological site, guided by a local expert.
Following this enlightening visit, we traverse the mountainous terrain of the Peloponnese, en route to Patras. Here, we marvel at the grandeur of the city's Orthodox cathedral, the largest in Greece, and indulge in a leisurely lunch.
In the late afternoon (schedule subject to change), we board a luxurious and modern ferry, resembling a cruise liner. Sailing along the stunning Greek coastline, we pass by the enchanting islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia, making a brief stop in Igoumenitsa. You'll enjoy the comfort of double cabins equipped with private bathrooms.
A visit to Assisi will be included on the following day as we journey towards Rome.
