This Full Day Tour of Istanbul provides the perfect introduction to the fabled city that spans Asia and Europe. On this one day sightseeing tour you will see how old meets new when you visit Istanbul’s four “must-see” historic sites. We will pick you up from the hotel (city center hotels). Then you will meet with your guide at the meeting point. We will visit Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Grand Covered Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Sultan Tombs. Hagia Sophia (Aya Sofya): a UNESCO-listed museum that contains Ottoman and Byzantine works. From the Golden Age of Byzantine Empire, this once a Christian church is one of the most extraordinary buildings in the history of architecture. Listen to its history and examine the architecture together with a professional guide. Next stop is Topkapi Palace, the largest and oldest palace in the world to survive to our day and also was the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for approximately 400 years.

Then, make a visit to the Blue Mosque with six minarets, which was built at the bequest of Sultan Ahmet I, and is one of the best preserved and most significant examples of Ottoman architecture. Continue to Istanbul Hippodrome where chariot races were held. It was the center of Byzantium’s life for 1000 years and of Ottoman life for another 400 years and has been the scene of countless political dramas.

The last stop of your journey is the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Its numerous shops are bursting with everything you can imagine, from jewelry to silk clothing, and traditional copperware to exotic, Oriental imports and many more hidden gems.

Breakfast & we check-out from our hotel in Istanbul & proceed to experience Bosphorus Cruise & Spice Bazaar. We begin with a brief visit to the 17th-century Spice Bazaar, one of Istanbul’s most colorful and popular attractions. The building is part of the Yenj Mosque and was completed in 1660. Next, we will take a cruise through the Bosphorus, also known as Istanbul Strait, which is the only passage between the Mediterranean and the Black seas. It also marks the dividing line between Europe and Asia. After tour, transfer to Istanbul or Sabiha Gokcen Airport for your flight to Antalya. Transfer from Airport to your hotel in Antalya

Breakfast at Hotel. Drive by air-conditioned vehicle to the beautiful Düden Waterfalls. Marvel as the Lower Düden Falls cascade over the rocks and fall 40 meters into the Mediterranean Sea. Continue to the national park of Kurşunlu Waterfalls to see the water from a tributary of the Aksu River stream across the rocks and drop from the plateau into the lake. Get back to nature and soak up the surrounding flora and fauna. Next, go to Upper Düden Falls and discover a hidden cave where its possible to walk behind the waterfall. Enjoy lunch in the park as you listen to the sound of the falling water. End with a tour of Kaleiçi in the historic city center of Antalya. Admire the Ottoman-era architecture and remains of the Roman walls. Wander the narrow streets lined with stone and timber houses, and see the ruins of Hadrian’s Gate, built to commemorate a visit by the Roman emperor in 130 AD.

After breakfast we check-out & head inland to Denizli Province to visit Pamukkale –Turkey’s most incredible natural wonder. Meaning ‘cotton castle,’ this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site consists of dazzling white travertine rock terraces that seem to flow down 656-foot cliffs. From a distance, the travertine terraces almost look like snowy cliffs or frozen waterfalls, but in fact they are mineral deposits from Pamukkale hot springs. Walk around these fascinating rocks and see the naturally formed bathing pools while learning about their geology from your guide. Views from Pamukkale are unforgettable – see the white travertine terraces contrasting with brown mountains in the distance, and then walk up to Hierapolis, the ancient Greco-Roman city with crumbling ruins and geothermic bathing pools. Enjoy time at leisure here, and be sure to bring your bathing suit as the pools are definitely worth a dip.

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to airport for your flight (at additional cost) to Istanbul to connect your outbound flight
